Gama de switch-uri LAN Ethernet stack-abile Alcatel-Lucent  OmniStack 6200 raspunde nevoilor retelelor companiilor si instalatiilor rezidentile. Avand configuratii fixe Fast Ethernet de 12,24 si 48 de porturi 10/100 - RJ 45 pentru cupru si  24 porturi- 100 BaseX - fibra optica – Layer 2,  ofera functii si servicii avansate solicitate de utilizatori.De asemenea asigura in acelasi timp, o calitate a serviciului si un nivel de securitate remarcabile  gratie functiilor avansate de clasificare a traficului si utilizatorilor ceea ce se traduce prin performante exceptionale de tratament a semnalului video voce & date  din retea.

Cu topologia sa « totul in unul » stakabil, cu formatul sau 1 HU si integrand functii  evoluate, Omnistack 6200 este perfect pentru urmatoarele aplicatii :

     -         grupuri de lucru din companii,

     -         camere de cablaj LAN,

     -         amplasare in zona periferica a retelelor,

     -         intreprinderi mici/ mijlocii si sucursale,

     -         utilizare in locuri in care este necesara alimentatea electrica prin cablu Ethernet (PoE).

Modelele Omnistack 6212 &6224 nefiind dotate cu ventilatoare, reprezinta o solutie ideala pentru medii de lucru supuse unor limitari importante a nivelului sonor.  Aceasta gama de switch-uri ofera o arhitectura evoluata compusa din 4 porturi Gigabit Ethernet utilizabile tinand cont de configuratia stack si Up-link multi-Gigabit fara sa se sacrifice porturile utilizatorilor.    

        -     fiecare switch este dotat cu 2 porturi RJ 45  cupru – 10/100/1000 Mbs utilizabile cu cablaj Ethernet standard pentru a asigura o legatura dedicata in varianta "Stack" sau ca porturi Gigabit in configuratie autonoma,

        -     fiecare switch poseda de asemenea 2 porturi mixte Gigabit suplimentare asigurand conectarea  in afara retelei sau cu serverele de mare trafic.Porturile mixte permit utilizatorilor sa  se conecteze  prin cablaj cupru Ethernet standard sau prin fibra optica utilizand mediaconvertoare de fibra optica standard.
